Agencies/Organizations that Support Agriculture help maintain farmland as greenspace. Agricultural-support agencies include the Cooperative Extension Service/CES, which is the outreach arm of state land-grant universities that provides agricultural, natural resource, and horticultural programs (include Master Gardener training), and the Resource Conservation and Development Councils/RC&Ds, which are regional nonprofit organizations staffed by the Natural Resource Conservation Service (part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture).
