St. Clair Township Comprehensive Plan
The St. Clair Township Comprehensive Plan takes an innovative approach to protect both drinking water and community character.
Located near Hamilton, Ohio, St. Clair Township is a source of drinking water for hundreds of thousands of people and provides the water needed for a state-of-the-art Miller-Coors brewery. The township’s comprehensive plan was adopted by the Butler County Planning Commission on February 10, 2009, and the township’s zoning commission is currently updating the zoning code to reflect recommendations in the plan.
Developing the St. Clair Township Comprehensive Plan was funded by the Miami Conservancy District and involved OKI working in partnership with the township, the Butler County Department of Development, and the Hamilton to New Baltimore Ground Water Consortium.
