2030 Regional Transportation Plan

Every four years, the Ohio-Indiana-Kentucky Regional Council of Governments (OKI) updates the OKI 2030 Regional Transportation Plan. The Plan is the long-range, comprehensive transportation-planning document for the three-state, eight-county Greater Cincinnati region. It defines the overarching goals for transportation in our region, establishes existing and future transportation needs of the region and allocates projected revenue to transportation programs and projects that address those needs.

OKI began working on the 2030 Regional Transportation Plan Update in March 2007.  The OKI Board of Directors unanimously adopted the Plan Update on Thursday, June 12, 2008. With the Plan’s local adoption, it has been submitted to the federal highway and federal transit administrations for their review and approval.
